- Newsroom has released an eight part web series on Katherine Mansfield called 'Shine On'
- The Storylines 2024 Notable Book list has been announced, as have the 2024 Booklovers Awards
- Booksellers Aotearoa's Summer Reading Guide is out now, and together with NZSA they have launched a guide for indie authors
- The Māori Literature Trust's Pukapuka Māori o te tau is open for submissions
- Congratulations to the winners of the 2024 Sargeson Prize
- And also to the 2024 Arts Foundation Laureates (in particular, of course, the writers!)
- More congratulations, too, to Anna Smaill on the 2025 IIML Residency, Joy Sellen on the Storylines Betty Gilderdale award, the Otago University Arts Fellows, and Mark Derby on the CLNZ NZSA Writers' Award
