Join us

There are lots of perks to becoming a Read NZ Te Pou Muramura school member, including:

  • Access to our Reading Resource Kete for schools, launching in February 2025
  • The opportunity to apply for a subsidised Writers in Schools visit
  • Priority booking, recommendations and support for other school visits or seminars
  • The option for teachers to review for The School Library, or for individual students or classes to review for Hooked on NZ Books
  • Access to the Playwrights in Schools programme for drama or theatre teachers
  • Helping us fund our online resources which are free for all teachers, librarians and students to access (Writers Files, Hooked on NZ Books, The School Library)
  • Demonstrating to your ākonga, staff, senior leadership and community that your school places high importance on growing readers and a reading culture.

School membership is $150 per calendar year (plus GST). Your membership will be automatically renewed each year unless you opt out.
