ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Cowley, Wanda (1924 - ) is a writer for children whose stories and poems have appeared in numerous journals. Many focus on an empathy with the natural environment.
A review in Beneath Southern Skies describes Wanda Cowley as 'very much a New Zealand writer, she captures the feeling of what it is like to live on these islands. The sea is always close and her characters come alive in a distinctive landscape.'
