Our Book Our Stories features poetry, prose and illustrations by 46 year 7 and 8 students who worked with children’s author Moira Wairama over six weeks, as part of our latest Writers in Communities project.

The result is a collection of stories that reflect the cultural heritage and family stories of children from a wide range of backgrounds.

This special book was launched at a new year liturgy at St Bernadette’s School in Naenae on February 13.
