Judy Lambert is a portrait artist and illustrator. She has worked on numerous books for children and adults. Lambert is known to depict New Zealand flora and fauna in her illustrations, and she says, "I have a special interest in illustrating the everyday people of my community." Her titles include New Zealand Country Cooking, The Smallest Tree and Zoe's Web. Gone Fishing (1991) was a shortlisted title in the 1992 Aim Children's Book Awards. She has also illustrated collections of nature poems.

Lambert, Judy (1946 - ) has illustrated numerous books for children and adults.
She often takes New Zealand flora and fauna as her subject, and writes 'I have a special interest in illustrating the everyday people of my community.'
Titles illustrated by Lambert include New Zealand Country Cooking (1990); The Smallest Tree (1990); Zoe's Webs (1990); Gone Fishing (1991); a series of collections of nature poems including Fantail, Weta, and Kiwi (1998); and Cat Talk (1999).
Gone Fishing was a shortlisted title in the 1992 Aim Children's Book Awards.
