Opening sentence
Dogs are STUPID. The End.
I loved this book from the beginning right through to the end. The comical illustrations on the front cover immediately made me smile, along with the name of the author - A.Cat. I was excited about opening the book, and the contents certainly didn't disappoint. The first couple of pages made me laugh out loud, and the fun just continued. I'm not usually one for toilet humour, but this had just the right amount without even being explicit. Children will love it! Those who like happy endings will also be contented that the dog and cat are actually best friends.

I'm sure this book will be read many times over without children getting bored by it. The numerous different facial expressions of the cat will be pored over, along with the detailing on all of the other illustrations. The conversational style of text is likely to ensure that even reluctant readers will choose this book more than once, and the reader will find it as appealing to read as anybody they share it with.

I shall now be on the hunt for other books by this author.

Content warning: None unless you'd prefer not to see a cartoon dog rolling in a pile of cow poo, or sniffing another dog's bottom.
