Opening sentence
One day, the wind changed through the forest, and swept away Boingo’s favourite thing.
Boingo the rabbit lost his favourite golden balloon up into the trees. He hopped onto the branch of a tree began a chase through the treetops and beyond.

The animals Boingo encounters send him on using counting and sequencing further into the forest on his search. Will he find his precious balloon? Will he find his way back?

This catchy story with expressive illustrations, especially of raccoon and woodpecker, will delight young readers. I am sure many will be bouncing and jumping across the room as they follow along.

Preschools and younger school classes may enjoy this as a read aloud to practice both counting and sequencing.
