Opening sentence
Thursday found Luna Goodhart curled up in a window seat, staring out at the snowy London street.
The time-travelling thieves are out on an adventure again!
This time Luna, Konstantin and Aidan travel to The Valley of Kings, Egypt in 1922, with the mission to find and bring back the mummy of Tutankhamun. In this trip the travellers have to face a number of challenges including a room full of traps, and outwitting the sneaky Arthur John Priest once more. Along the way the three travellers met new friends Abdel and Lady Evelyn who help them out along the way. But can they really take Tutankhamun from Egypt, or will the Mummy’s curse keep him safe in Egypt forever?
This is the second book in The Butterfly Club series and is a great follow on from 'The Ship of Doom'. This story sees the friendship of the main characters grow. It is a great adventure book, with historical people such as Arthur Conan Doyle and Lord Carnarvon (information about these people are included in the back of the book), The chapters are short and easy to read, and would be a great addition to a library shelf in any school.
