Playtime is a ball at Oddball School. How many different types of balls can you see?
Wow! What a 'tricky sporty looky book! There's so much happening on every page!

It was certainly a challenge for me to find everything. It also kept my granddaughter amused for quite some time. The answers are really well hidden so it was pleasing to see the 'Sporty Answers' at the back of the book. (No cheating!)

The illustrations are truly amazing; Donovan Bixley is such a clever man. The vibrant colours will hook the readers into this book immediately. Children and adults alike will be laughing out loud at the antics of the pupils, adults and animals as they work their way through the story trying to figure out all the answers; it's hilarious.

There's lots of alliteration in the (fairly easy) text but no rhyme, this time. Mr. Bixley has included a picture glossary at the back of the book with te reo Māori names for all the sporty words in the book. Ka rawe, Donovan!

Whether you are into sports or not, this book is sure to please anyone who picks it up for a looky! It would make an awesome gift for some very lucky child. It's a beautiful book!
