Opening sentence
There's a story to tell, it's the story of you!
This is Rose Stanley's fifth children's book. She has written for the parenting magazine Tots to Teens and was a trainer for the Season for Growth programme. The main focus of her books is on emotional and social development.
This text encourages children to acknowledge and appreciate their uniqueness and to celebrate all they have accomplished so far. It recognises that the path may not have been easy, but they have grown from the experience and have so much more to achieve. It talks to them about how they have the power to determine what will happen through the choices they make. This is a great text and series to use when teaching or developing emotional intelligence.
