Tulip and Sprout were famous at their school for two reasons.
If you loved "tulip and Doug', you’ll love this next instalment.

The second book in this series centres around Tulip and how her and her Dad create fun and imagination when Tulip's friend Max and his pet rock Susan go on holiday. Tulip is left bored and listless. Together with her Dad this story turns from sad to joy quickly when they rediscover Doug and his new sprouts!

This is an awesome story of discovering joy and fun in anything around you. The language is great for younger readers learning new vocabulary and the pictures are vivid and vibrant. There’s some lovely bits of humour in the story regarding rocks and the joy of play and creative imagination; but also the joy of friendship between Max and Tulip.

This is a great read aloud in the classroom, or just as a bedtime story.
